In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxSingapore organises idea events that bring people together to share a TED-style experience.   Live speakers, TEDTalk videos, performances combine to spark deep discussion and connection among 'curious souls', just like yourself, who love and value ideas and want to build a future that you can believe in. 

TEDxSingapore Idea Events are curated by TED-sters who have attended numerous TED Conferences and are dedicated to creating great TED experiences...

Global TEDxWomenDay 2011 'Perpectives Without Borders'  TEDxSingaporeWomen 2011 from 2-3 December was a collaborative event with TEDxWomen in New York and Los Angeles and over 80 TEDx events across the globe. Dynamic and passionate local TEDxSingaporeWomen speakers and artistes shared their ideas, talents and endeavours with Singapore and the world. These are women who challenge what you think you know with their experiences, their accomplishments and their insights. The evening ended with a Think+Eat+Drink Party, with lots of mixing and mingling among thinkers and doers, visionaries, passionate people of the TED community in Singapore.

Global TEDxYouth@Singapore 2011 'Idea+Action' on 19 Nov 2011 was curated and created by the youth of Singapore themselves to truly be an expression of who they are, their hopes, aspirations, concerns and dreams. The theme of IDEA+ACTION  explored and expressed how youth today see things and do things in their own special way.  Is life really as simple as having an idea and placing it into action?  Speakers shared the future they envision and how they are forming the building blocks of tomorrow. Innovative and insightful educators also shares insights into how they are shaping the hearts and minds of tomorrow's generation

TEDxSingapore Women + TEDWomen Conference Live in December 2010.

This brand new TED Conference in Washington DC gathered 500 global thought leaders, innovators and storytellers, enlightening speakers and connected with over 115 TEDx events around the world to focus on how women think and work, communicate and collaborate, learn and lead.   Women in Singapore also shared their ideas, talents and endeavours on this global stage via live feed to the world

Global TEDxYouthDay in Nov live over 24 hours around our planet

On November 20, Universal Children's Day, we joined thousands of young people in over 70 towns, villages, cities around the world to share the ideas, stories and experiences of young people under a common vision: Inspiring curiosity and igniting new ideas

'The Future We Will Make'  in September 2010, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and us TEDx organisers teamed up for a very special global event hosted by TED curator Chris Anderson and featuring talks by Hans Rosling, Melinda Gates and world's most inspired thinkers and doers.  We looked at what changes need to be done to ensure the health and well-being of future generations.  Hosted at Microsoft's auditorium, we  also featured live speakers and music performances.

'The Substance of TED Unseen' on 20 February 2010

We showed you aspects of TED that you would only experience at TED Conferences: Live TED U speakers, sharing by Singaporean TED Fellow Tin-Ho Chow, TEDsters, and TEDPrize.  Over 250 attendees at Singapore Institute of Management dressed in red and white formed a human TED logo.

'Design Ideas Worth Spreading' on 28 November 2009

We co-curated Singapore's first large scale gathering of 300 TED fans with TEDxGreen, DesignSingapore and Singapore Management University.

Live Simulcast of TED India conference from 4-7 November 2009
